They generate a tidy little income for no effort whatsoever. At the end of the one year initial registration period, the non-earners are sold and the good earners are re-registered.

Every now and then, the ones with high traffic are picked off and
turned into websites (free hosting with each name registered with
GoDaddy). Useful content, along with carefully picked affiliate
programmes and perhaps an e-book or other merchandise for sale - and
the revenue quadruples. It only takes about 2 hours per website.
Are you beginning to see how, by owning some Premium domain names, you can earn a decent income. Just by sitting and putting your feet up for a couple of hours a day!
